My playground

Ogni tanto mi diverto a far finta di giocare a basket, dico per finta data la mia scarsa forma e la mira pessima. Mi entusiasma sempre, lo trovo uno sport molto coinvolgente ed eccitante, ma soprattutto è un'occasione per stare un pò all'aria aperta nelle prime giornate di sole dopo un grigio inverno.

Sometimes I like to try to play basketball, I say try because of my poor form and bad aim. It always excites me, I find it a very engaging and exciting sport, but most importantly it is an opportunity to spend time outside in the first days of sunshine after a gray winter.

Questo è il playground vicino a casa mia dove andiamo sempre a fare qualche tiro e dove ci misuriamo nella gara dei tiri liberi, nelle mini partite e nella gara delle schiacciate. Ma la cosa più divertente è imitare i nostri idoli!!

This is the playground near my house where we always do some shooting and where we face the competition of free throws, mini games and "slam dunk contest". But the funniest thing is to imitate our idols!

 

Questo parchetto poi mi piace tanto perchè possiamo avere sempre uno spettatore fisso: il nostro amico Barry, dolcissimo!!

I like so much this place because we always have a fixed audience: our friend Barry, so sweet!

Poi ovviamente abbiamo sempre una divisa NBA style, sennò non si esce nemmeno di casa!!!


Then of course we always have a NBA style uniform , otherwise we do not even leave the house!!!

Ebbene si, ho avuto il piacere di assistere alla sfilata del 24 febbraio 2011 di Blugirl!!! Assolutamente fantastica! Molto lineare ma sofisticata al tempo stesso, molto femminile e frizzante. Il mix di colori è stato il filo conduttore dello show e a me è decisamente piaciuto!!

Qui vi riporto alcuni tra i miei scatti migliori:

Yes, I had the pleasure to see the Blugirl fashion show on february 24 2011!!! Absolutely fantastic!! Very straight silhouettes but sophisticated, very feminine and vibrant. The theme of the show was colour and I completely loved it!!

Come si può notare a colpo d'occhio, la sfilata è stata divisa in quattro sezioni ( a mio avviso potrebbero essere anche cinque ). Qui ho scelto i miei due outfit preferiti per ognuna:

As you can see just at the first look, the show was divided into four sections ( in my opinion they would have been also five). Here I've choosen two outfits for each section:

Nuovi acquisti

Giovedì prossimo andrò a Milano e ho in programma un acquisto che sto rimandando da mesi.... il mitico portafoglio Josephine di Louis Vuitton!! Lo trovo bellissimo, super pratico e glamour!! Io vorrei optare per la versione in rosso, forse meno eccentrica e un pò più classica. Spero di riuscire a trovare il coraggio e di decidermi a prenderlo finalmente!!!

Next thursday I will go to Milan and I want to buy something that I always delay...the fabulous Josephine wallet by Louis Vuitton!! I think it's wonderful, very useful and glamour!! I would like to choose the red version, probably less eccentric and more classic. I hope to persuade myself and finally buy it!!

Poi un altro acquisto che continuo a rimandare è quello di una maxi bag sempre LV... ma qui la questione è più complicata perchè sono molto indecisa sul modello... le mie preferite sono Galliera PM, Delightful GM e Arsty MM ma non riesco a decidermi su quale scegliere..

Then another thing I would like to buy is a maxi bag Lv of coure..but here I'm not sure of what model I prefer... the chiose will be between Galliera PM, Delightful GM e Arsty MM..

Devo aspettare ancora un pò per farne mia una, spero nel frattempo di riuscire a pensarci per bene e decidere.

I have to wait for a while to make mine one of them, so I have time to decide and choose.

LeBron 8 V/2 Christmas

Questo è l'ultimo pazzo acquisto del mio ragazzo. Sono un paio di sneakers ultra limitate, indossate da LeBron James esclusivamente per la partita NBA del giorno di Natale.

This is the last crazy purchase of my boyfriend. They are a pair of ultra limited sneakers, worn by LeBron James exclusively for the NBA game on Christmas Day.

In Italia non sono molti gli estimatori di questa categoria di scarpe, più che altro perchè non fanno parte della nostra cultura.. ma basta fare una capatina in America per capire quanto siano importanti e esclusivi alcuni modelli.
Nel mio piccolo, ho iniziato ad apprezzarle e ne sono diventata una mini fan..quindi come direbbe Alan: "It's no bad!!!".

In Italy there are not so many fans of this type of shoes, just because they're not in our culture.. but you can just fly to America to see how they're important and how exclusive are some types of them.

I've stated to be a fan not so many years ago, but now I really love them..and so as Alan always says.."It's not bad!!"

Ecco qui il mio ultimo acquisto dei saldi : un paio di pump Giancarlo Paoli.

This is my last sales purchase: a new pair of Giancarlo Paoli Pumps.

Ho scoperto questo marchio qualche anno fa e ne sono rimasta subito entusiasta!! Qualità ottima e prezzi piuttosto accessibili ( anche se ad esser sincera ho sempre atteso i saldi per farne mio un paio...). Inoltre trovo che siano semplici ma sempre d'effetto, proprio come piace a me!

I discovered this brand a few years ago and I fell immediately in love with it!!  Excellent quality and quite reasonable prices. I also think they are simple shoes but snappy, exactly as I like them!



Per ora ho solo provato a vedere come mi stanno indossate, ma spero di pubblicare presto un outfit completo. Quindi alla prossima!!!
